MULTIBANCO network has more than 13 thousand ATM all over the country with more than 60 operations available - a network that stands out for its innovation and universal availability of features such as mobile phone top-ups, transfers, direct debits, events ticket sales and transportation ticket sales.

In addition to regular withdrawals and enquiries, bill payments and mobile phone top-ups stand out as the most frequent, accounting for over 95% of MULTIBANCO ATM transactions.

The ATM network was SIBS first project in September 1985, with 12 terminals in Lisbon and Oporto.

Presently, MULTIBANCO ATM network processes more than 69 million operations per month, a volume of 3.500 million Euros (2008 monthly average).
