- Memorize your PIN. Never write it down on documents or papers that you usually carry
- Destroy the PIN envelope after memorizing it. If you want to keep it do not put it close to the
card or available to others
- You are responsible for your PIN code, never disclose it to anyone (not even if they claim to
be from a bank or the police, they will never ask to disclose or confirm sensitive personal
info)
- Change the PIN regularly
- When choosing it avoid obvious choices of 4 digits such as your date of birth Choosing an
ATM
- Put your personal safety first. Avoid using the ATM at night time and at deserted or dim
lit places
