- If you do not receive the card on the date set by the bank/ issuer, please contact them
immediately
- Sign the new cards' signature panel as soon as they arrive
- Write down your cards numbers in a safe and secure place, in case they are stolen or
lost;
- Always keep your card in a safe place, out of sight from others, don't leave it unattended
(inside your car for example);
- Keep the card in good conditions, away from metallic materials (such as keys), which can
destroy the information recorded in the magnetic stripe and therefore enabling its use;
- Check frequently if the card is in your possession;
- Immediately report lost or stolen cards to your bank or SIBS through the 24-hour emergency
numbers:

- Keep a note of these emergency numbers with you, for example on your mobile phone
- Cut expired cards through the magnetic stripe, the signature panel numbers and/or the chip
before disposing them
- Always check your account and bank card statements for suspicious transactions. If you spot any
strange entries you should contact your card issuer immediately
- All the documents with details of your banking account and/or card (receipts, bills,
statements, etc) must be kept in a safe place
